Remember Me

by Suzanne schultz.........................................

There are things that I have forgotten like when you were just a child.
How it did not take awhole lot to make you laugh and smile.

No I can not remember the days now gone away.
When you just could not wait to go outside to play.

I wish I could remember the fine man you turned out to be.
The only thing I know now is this world I now must leave.

The world I once knew has somehow lost it's charms.
So I go to rest in my fathers arms.

So my son if you can remember me with love.
And I will take it with me to my father up above.

My husbands real father was never in his life. He was raised by his step-father. He was even givin the name of his step father. I asked him once if he would like to go and visit his real dad. He told me that the man that raised him was his dad. My husband is liveing proof that there are men out there how will love a child even if it is not his. A man that will go the extra mile to make a child happy. Wheter or not that chid is his. Any man can be a Father, but it takes a specil man to be a Daddy.

Comments would be appreciated by the author, Suzanne schultz
