IN LOVING MEMORY OF RICK SHELTON 1975-2005

No one will ever know
The pain and sadness we each feel
You were gone within an instant
And still it doesn't seem quite real

There will be times I'm sure
We'll hear or feel you close
But we're reminded that you're gone
And that's what hurts the most.

The memories we shared
The times you made us laugh
We'll smile often when we think of you
As your voice echos from the past.

Part of you will forever live in us
Way down deep inside our hearts
We'll remember you wouldn't want us to cry
Before the tears even start

Goodbye is the saddest word to say
Especially to a very dear friend
But as long as we keep you in our hearts
That dear friendship will never end
