My Special Time

| I was born in the 50's. At a time when men as parents had little to no rights if your parents were not married. I was taken from my biological mother and eventually placed up for adoption. I was 41 when I was contacted by Wa. Adoptive Rights. Result was, I met my bilogical family. I have had a relationship with Curly (my dad) since. I gained more than I ever thought I would. I am so thankful for the 11 yrs we shared. He met his grand & great grand children. I got a step mom and brother that I dearly love. My dad ended his journey here on Jan 21,2006. I didn't have enough time with him. I just thank the Lord that I had the 11 yrs I did. We had a grand gathering for him. He would have loved it. |
